Rebecca Edwards, DVM

Dr. Rebecca Edwards graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Originally tracking in equine medicine, she completed a one-year rotating internship in equine medicine and surgery at the North Carolina State University, followed by a one-year fellowship in sports medicine and imaging. Tired of the humidity and missing home, she returned to California where she practiced equine sports medicine for 2 years. She transitioned to small animal medicine in 2016 and has never regretted her choice. She loves working with family pets, helping them live long and healthy lives.

Rebecca married the love of her life in March of 2024 and relocated from the Bay Area to the Sierra Foothills to live with her husband, Harvey, and stepson, Conley. When they aren't cheering Conley on at a school sporting event, Harvey and Rebecca enjoy spending time hiking the Sierras, relaxing with a glass of wine at a local winery, drinking coffee, and listening to records. Their two dogs, Hickory and Uhura are their constant and beloved companions.
